クッワト・アルイスラーム・モスクの鉄柱。 高さ 7.24ｍ（地上部 6.85ｍ）　4世紀
グプタ朝のチャンドラグプタ 2世が制作させたもので、モスク建立以前に この地に移設されたらしい。
1600年にわたって錆が出ないのは、精錬の純度があまりに高いからと言われる。
The Iron Pillar seems to have been transferred here before the construction of the mosque.
It is said that it is because of its purity that it has not acquired any patina over its 1600 years.
